Hitting the Beach

The Semiahmoo Peninsula boasts a 300-berth marina that can harbor ships and yachts of every shape and size. Its location not only offers excellent access to the San Juan Islands and all the Canadian Gulf Islands, it is the epicenter for residents wanting to reel in salmon, halibut, cod and Dungeness crab. The area is also famous for the most tranquil of pastimes. Beachcombers have explored the miles of shoreline for centuries, navigating the ancient driftwood searching through the vast assortment of shells and treasures that each tide brings in.
